AI Chat Personas let you create a custom AI character for your bot. Instead of just responding to commands, your bot can have conversations with members, respond to mentions, and engage naturally with your community - all with a personality you define.

How It Works

Create Your Persona

Go to your bot's settings and click on "AI Chat Persona" in the templates grid. Name your persona and write a system prompt that describes its personality.

Configure Triggers

Choose when your bot responds: mentions only, specific keywords, or all messages. Optionally restrict to specific channels.

Deploy & Chat

Deploy your bot and start chatting! Members can interact with your bot's persona based on the triggers you configured.

Writing Effective System Prompts

The system prompt defines your bot's personality. Here are some tips:

Be specific: "You are a friendly, enthusiastic gaming companion who loves discussing strategies" is better than "You are helpful"
Set boundaries: Define what your bot should and shouldn't talk about
Include tone: Specify if your bot should be casual, professional, humorous, etc.
Use variables: Include {username} to personalize responses with the user's name

Pricing Information

AI Chat Persona responses are charged from your wallet credits. The cost depends on message length:

• Short responses (~100 tokens): ~1 cent
• Medium responses (~500 tokens): ~2-3 cents
• Longer conversations use more due to memory context

Your Pro subscription includes $10 in credits monthly, and you can top up anytime.

Safety Filters

All AI Chat Persona responses are filtered for harmful, explicit, and inappropriate content. These safety measures are always enabled and cannot be disabled, ensuring your community stays protected.
